Lately i been catchin up on my movies && there have been some pretty good 1's, i guees some ok 1's
So i'll start off with the most recent 1 which is American Ganster. I jus watched the whole thing last nite, & i watched the unrated extended version, and there was alotta friggin nudity in it, and i may have to watch it from the beginning again because i didnt really understand the begining. But anyway overall the movie was very interesting. But wat i really thot about while watchin the movie was that this man was really smart, && his intelligance was makin him milions and millions of money. The only problem was that wat he was doin was illegial. But Frank Lucas wasnt afraid of anything and i thot it was so cute how he had the most respect for his mother and his wife. they were both the center of his life.
I guess the main point of the movie was that Frank Lucas, a black man, had done what no White Mafia, or White Italian Mafia could accomplish. Making millions of money selling dugs. He had stayed ut of the public eye with what he did. But since he wore nice expensive things, people were wondering, what does this man do?.....and thats when investigators started investigating. I think Franks problem was that he was greedy. He should've stopped while he was ahead. he had over 250 million dollars, and in that time 250 million dollars was like a billion to us. He was running a business but he was running the type of business that can't go on for too long, because you'l end up goin to jail or getting killed. But good story i'll give about 4 stars to that movie :].
Ok, So the next movie is Seven Pounds. This movie is a tear jerker. I will cry each time i see this movie. The 1st time i seen the movie i did not understand at all wat was goin on, && it took me 3 time to fully understand it lol. The story was about how this Man is still grieving over things that happened in the past, and the memories jus wont go away. He gives his life to help seven strangers, and he keeps his plan between he and his bestfriend. He ends up meeting a girl who kind of gives him hope about his life, and she kinda helps him see things differently but he's pretty much stuck in a loose vs. loose situation. At any rate, a very good movie. I loved will smith in that. By that way i kno he's gettin old but he is very good looking :]].
If yu havent seen the movie i would recommend yu all to see it.
Next Movie is........CADILLAC REACORDS!!!
I absolutely loved the music in this movie. I have never been a big blues fan but this definatly got me interested in it. This movie shows how a man named Leonard Chess felt like he did somethin for black people that noone had done. He brought the best of there musical talents out. But the thing about white producers producing black people is they basically them right. This man leonard chess gave them caddilacs, but didnt pay them they're royalties. only the smart 1's mad sure they got they're money paid in full. && i absolutely love columbus short in the movie!!!! && beyonce really didnt come into the the movie untill about an hr in. She did better in this movie but i still say she sings better than she acts.
ima put some more on later but i had to come to a stopping point because im about to go to the mall so i gotta ger dressed.
